Odour Reduction Trial – Grease Trap
NBT worked with a reputed meat processing company with an aim to treat water samples from Grease Traps. The water samples from grease traps normally have significant odour due to the presence of hydrogen sulphide and organic matter. NBT performed a trial with the use of ozone and the successful results are as shown below. The tabulated information are some of our other key takeaways from the trial:
Our Results
Reduced Odour
The water samples had significant reduction in odour which was the main challenge the trial was aiming to resolve
Reduced Cell Count
Verified results from external laboratory showed significant, if not complete reduction in bacterial and algal cell counts.
Improved Water Clarity
NBT’s trial was also successful in improving water clarity of the grease trap water sample.
